We cannot give a proper review on "Be Live Experience Varadero" as - after arriving - we were immediately asked to move into "Hotel Los Cactus" because of some technical issues. (Los Cactus has a more superior service by the way, but we got it on the same price.)

Friendly stuff, food okay

Room wasn't ready at check-in time, air conditioning lost water, toilet flush didn't turn off, there were no towels the first day, room smelled like gasoline due to oil pumps near the hotel... At least they fixed everything pretty soon, but anyway the hotel needs revision

Definitely not a 4 star hotel.For cubans yes but not for europeans

Never had cocktails like pina colada or proper glasses to put them in only plastic cups.NO BAR MENU so you dont even know what you can have.musty smell in suites and poor selection of food on buffet.

The beach was AMAZING The staff is awesome and VERY helpful. Super friendly staff.

The food was not good. The pool is dirty and missing grout. It’s not wheelchair accessible. The walkway to the beach is bumpy if your in a wheel chair.

just the all inclusive things was good.

It's all inclusive, but when you want ro drink some cocktails you might consider the bartender's face.. if you don't pay tips, you can't get cocktails with a glass. the quality is different from whether you pay tips or not. well.. it's all inclusive resort, but i feel it's actually not all inclusive in some part. the bartenders look so tired so i couldn't get cocktails from bartenders cuz i felt like i kept asking free drinkings without any pay. i felt so bad to ask drinks lol.. i think the most of visitors are from US or Canada, so the bartenders are used to get some tips from customers. if you want to get the cocktails with a glass, you might better pay tips. i ordered the same drink infront of me, but he paid tips, and he got cocktails with glass and decorated with garnish. but mine was just with plastic cup. this is not really what i expected on my travel. but yeah, i understand the hardness of work.

we were transferred to the hotel las morlas, which is also a be live experience hotel right next to it, just a bit smaller, food etc is pretty much the same though AMAZING food (we all like different things and everyone found something they loved, fresh pasta, pizza, barbecue day, wide variaty, great salads and fruits...), nice staff, great pool, great location, super comfortable, we could have stayed much longer :D

events mostly in italian, which we didnt mind, but something to consider if youre travelling with children

Beds not very comfortable, the whole place looked a little run down, rooms were rough, the two nice restaurants were booked up the whole time we were there, so we couldn't get a reservation.

Food is eatable. If the ocean is calm you'll enjoy swimming. The beach is really nice

A bit of ramshakle hotel. Need to be repared. Lots of ants in the bathroom. Booking promised check in at 15.00. But in the hotel check in time is 16.00. Personnel of the hotel does not pay attention to the crying and shouting visitors around the pool after 23.00 despite the fact that I asked them several times to calm them down. No reaction.

Nice quietish end of the beach and good choice of food

Just returned for a weeks stay, staff were very helpful, and rooms always tidied each day. Water was replenisehed in the fridge everyday too. Pincoldadas + gin and tonics from the bar were great, we took metal cups with us to save on plastic every time. Beach was kept tidy and plenty of sunbeds use. Beach bbq on the wednesday was fab - fresh makerel and salads every day - hot sauce or spice would be worth taking but thats just Cuban food in general. For the price we had a very good stay.

We had the view on the sea and it was amazing, the hotel is...

We had the view on the sea and it was amazing, the hotel is 50m from the beach, we didn't try swimming pool, but the beach was wonderful, with some water activities, and some of those free of charged.. The food was ok, based on cuban standards, air conditioned dining room, helpful staff... Animations were average, but we really enjoyed life music in Lobby bar.

The free drinks were poor quality, we ended up drinking only beer and soft drinks. The same with coffee. Our room smelled of fungi, shower was of poor quality. Sometimes cleaning lady forgot to leave us toilet paper, or clean towel. No dancing possibilities in hotel complex, even on Saturday.

We would go back to Cuba and entertain staying here again now knowing what to expect.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The views of the beach were amazing. Coffee was excellent. They did a great job with entertainment every night. The pool was well maintained and the beach perfect.

Cleanliness was an issue but then again somewhat expected. Our door kept getting stuck so twice we were locked out and once locked in - it was never fixed. The property is a little run down.

Rooms re supposed to be non smoking but ash trays are in all room It was heavy in my room but Breyer in my traveling moms My kids had sinus issues and cold after returning I also had no wash cloths and had to ask for soap No iron in room Travel with your own Also if you use the service for ironing do it first day Mine were 1 1/2 day late and was charged even though I cancelled Front desk staff and manager were nice The dining room staff were the best Smiling and helping with kids and elderly Beach was warm and fun for kids Book the great Asian restaurantbearly and also the French The daily dining room you will be tired of in 2 days Over all a great first Cuban experience The people are nice

What was the highlight of Be LIve Experience Varadero Hotel

The hotel hat everything that is rating highly. Starting from the next-to-the-beach location, through the hotel lay-out with reach tropical vegetation inside, the reception personnel (don't even know how much multi-lingual), restaurant and bar staff, to the cleaning staff. When we discovered that the room we got was for two persons and we were a 3-parson family, I went to the reception and a minute later while coming to the room I noticed that the cleaning lady has already arranged the third bed and bathroom accessories. Note - this is advantageous and not a disadvantage for the hotel. By the way - it is always good to thank those low-paid people for their effort with a small amount of money left on the pillow or with a chocolate bar. It is commonly used way of apprciation in hotels all over, but here the cleaning personnel will especially appreciate this. The hotel was very clean, well equipped, marvellous Cuban food and drinks, clean pool and beach. If you need to leave early in the morning or coming late in the evening, you will always find at least one restaurant or bar in the hotel that will serve food. What I discovered as the local-Cuban custom was a guy next to the beach selling for 1 CUC (1$) coco nuts where you could get rum inside - worth trying. Surprisingly, evening parties were not long and tid not disturb at night.

After almost two weeks of travelling across Cuba we spent 4 great days in Be Live Experience Varadero hotel. The hotel offers you everything you need to get relaxed and charge your batteries. Even we arrived a lot earlier, we were warmly welcomed by hotel staff at the reception our luggage were safely stowed and we were already able to use all hotel facilities (pool, beach, restaurants, bars, towel service, ...) while waiting for our room to be prepared. The room was very spacious with a balcony, clean and quiet. Room was well cleaned every day. All hotel staff was very friendly, helpful with good English knowledge and made us feel comfortable and welcomed all the time. Food was very good, drinks were great and available all day long. Beach was nice and clean with a lot of sunbeds as well as pool. You could see some ongoing works on the hotel as it's improving and renovating but this is not bothering you at all. We would definitely go back again.
